In 2012, CEO & Founder Brianne West started Ethique in her kitchen, where she began experimenting with solid shampoo bars. Today, we offer a range of over 100 products.

Our Mission

Our goal is to revolutionize the cosmetics industry and help regenerate our planet through our business practices. Eliminating single-use plastic bottles is just one step towards achieving this.

Regeneration

By 2021, Ethique has saved over 20 million single-use plastic bottles from production and disposal in landfills worldwide. We have also saved over 3 million gallons of water and planted more than 350,000 trees. But this is just the beginning.

At Ethique, small changes in product size and weight have a big impact on reducing carbon emissions. Our Compact by Design initiative recognizes products with more efficient designs that require less packaging and are easier to ship. These small changes add up to significant carbon emission reductions.

Discovery Packs: Unsure which Ethique products are best for you? Try our Discovery Packs, which contain three minis for you to test out. Each mini bar offers up to ten uses.

Trial & Travel Kit: Includes three of our best-selling mini hair care bars in cute heart shapes, perfect for travel.

Plastic-Free: Our bars come in recyclable, home compostable packaging. Simply tear up the box and compost it to return nutrients to the soil.

Ethical & Sustainable Ingredients: We use vegan, cruelty-free, palm oil-free, paraben-free, and renewable ingredients sourced from sustainable producers who are paid fair wages.
